The Men's 4s treated a capacity crowd at the Stade De Tiverton to a scintillating display of attacking hockey — the likes of which hadn’t been seen for a full seven days.
A better performance than last week yielded fewer goals, but we maintained our intensity throughout and never really let Macc get going.
Goals from Matt C (2), Del (2), Angus (2), Jack (1), and an unknown scorer (1) led to an 8–0 final score. With our last three games doing wonders for our goal difference, we now head into a tougher run of fixtures over the next few weeks.
All of our juniors were excellent yesterday, In particular, debutant Jack W worked his socks off, Gus is developing a real knack for drag flicking and Seb made Jack H proud with a green card for some over-effusive tackling.
Simon S was drafted in to miss the open goals this week, helpfully taking some of the pressure off Rob.
