West Cheshire & Wirral Hockey Development Centre is the relatively new name for 'County Hockey' organised through England hockey.

West Cheshire and Wirral covers Deeside Ramblers, Chester, Bebington, Neston & Oxton.

Hockey Development sessions for U13 (players born in 2007) boys and u14 (2006) boys will take place at

Christopher Todd Memorial Hockey Pitch Telegraph Road Caldy CH48 1NY (opposite Caldy Rugby Club)

6.45pm to 8.15pm (gates open at 6.30pm)

27th September,
4th, 11th & 18th October,
8th and 15th November

9 hours of hockey coaching

At the end of this Development phase, players will be selected to represent West Cheshire & Wirral Hockey Academy, where following further training and practice matches, we will compete against our neighbouring academies of Cumbria, East Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Isle of Man, Lancashire and Lancashire South in end of season tournaments.

The cost of this course is £63 which may be paid by cheque payable to 'West Cheshire Junior Development Centre' or by BACS.

U13B or U14B followed by your sons surname and first initial e.g. U13BWilliamsP (if I were a 13 year old boy)

Cash is also perfectly acceptable.

Although England Hockey Development Centre operates on a calendar year basis, players born between 1st January 2008 and 31st August 2008 (school year 7) are welcome to attend our Hockey Development Centre but might not progress to our Hockey Academy in December.

Details for older boys U15 (2005) and u17 (2003/4) will follow as soon as our programme has been finalised
