Junior Training
The last Junior training before Christmas is 11th December and training will re-start on January 8th. Have a great break!
Ladies Wanted!
We are trying to recruit a few more adult players into the ladies section this season. We have some extremely talented juniors coming up through the club at the moment and they have been playing really well in the first few matches this season. But to help build their confidence and to strengthen some of our teams we could do with a few more experience players to help show them the ropes.
Last season we had players joining us that had not played for nine years or more and they really enjoyed picking up a stick again and playing with us on a Saturday. We are not asking for adults to organise the juniors just to come along play some hockey, pass on their experience to the next crop off young talent but most importantly enjoy themselves.
So if you know any ladies that have played hockey in the past please try to encourage them to come down to a training to see what we are about or get them to contact one of the ladies captains.

In the Plate semi finals, the u18 boys beat Peterborough 5-6 in a penalty shoot out following a 1-1 draw at full time. Sadly after a thrilling final, again resulting in a draw at full time, the boys lost in the penalty shoot out.
The game was especially memorable as it was the last game for many of the team who have played together since beavers, as they will be moving away to University.
On the same day, the u10 Girls lost in the semi finals to Wakefiled 2-0. The u12 Boys also lost in the semi finals 2-1 against our old rivals Ben Riding.
