If this applies to your daughter and you haven’t received a separate message from the Club, it will be because you haven’t provided full / correct details via Pitchero. Please check your registration.

West Cheshire & Wirral Hockey Development Centre is the relatively new name for 'County Hockey' organised through England hockey.

West Cheshire and Wirral covers the area in which Deeside Ramblers, Chester, Bebington, Neston & Oxton play.

A new round of Hockey Development Centre is upon us and

U13 (2007) girls sessions will take place at

1.30pm - 3.30pm (registration from 1.15pm) on

22nd September,
6th October
20th October

Then on two of the following dates:

10th November
24th November
1st December (times and venue to be confirmed)

Which means 10 hours of hockey coaching from lead coach Beth Alvey.

At the end of our Development Centre, players will be selected to participate in Junior Academy which will involve further practice sessions leading up to matches against Academies from Cumbria, East Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Lancashire.

The cost of this course is £70 which may be paid by cheque payable to 'West Cheshire Junior Development Centre' or by BACS.

I appreciate that school and clubs are drawing heavily on your finances at the moment, so BACS payments may be spread as follows

Cash is also perfectly acceptable.

Although England Hockey Development Centre operates on a calendar basis, girls born between 1st January 2008 and 31st August 2008 (I.e. In school year 7) are welcome to attend our Development Centre but might not progress to our Academy in December.

Details of Junior Development Centre for older girls will follow very shortly.
