The hockey season is in full flow and at Deeside we have put together 2 days of specialist coaching during half term for both club and elite players. It will cater for those who want to develop their basic match skills and as well as those who are want to develop their advanced skills with the objective of progressing through the levels of elite hockey.
We have some excellent outfield coaches in Russell Hornby and Ghazanfar Ali. They have access to the Hockey England coaching objectives and will enable players to hone appropriate skills. We will have a specialist goal keeping coach who will work with players who currently play in goal along with any who would like to try out the position.
Coaches: Ghazanfar Ali, ex-Captain of Pakistan, current National League player and inspirational goal scorer!

Format: The day will run from 10:00am – 3:00pm and will include fundamentals of attacking and defensive play, individual skill development (including penalty corners/drag flicking etc) and match play.
Cost: £65 (£45 for members) for 2 days or £35 (£25 for members) for one.

Players must provide their own lunch and liquid refreshments and they will need their own stick/shin-pads/gum shield and suitable shoes for the Astroturf Pitch surface at Deeside Ramblers.
